Stampin' Up! Peace This Christmas: DOstamperSTARS #DSC210

Wishing you Peace, Joy, and Love this Christmas!

DSC#210

This weeks' DOstamperSTARS  challenge is a perfect opportunity to highlight the beauty of all Stampin' Up! Embellishments!

The beauty of Christmas is shimmers with silver and gold!  The peace, love and blessings of Christmas is with the beautiful smells of pine, sharing a kiss under the mistletoe, and the gathering of family and friends.  Stampin' Up! embellishments add color, dimension or shimmer to any special project.  I chose with this challenge to add color and dimension with Regals Enamel Shapes #141681.

Stampin' Up! Peace this Christmas Stamp Set #141570 in the Annual Catalog coordinates beautifully with so many embellishments that I will highlight only a few: Metallic Foil Dollies #138392, Gold Metallic Thread #138401, Metallics Sequin Assortment #138390, and of course Regals Enamel Shapes #141681.

Supplies needed for this easy to make Christmas card include: Peace this Christmas Stamp Set #141570, Emerald Envy Cardstock #141415, Whisper White Cardstock #101650, Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper #141986, Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies #141851, ink used Garden Green #126973, Cherry Cobbler #126966, and Regals Enamel Shapes #141681.

Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies #141851 and Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper #141986 in the 2016 Holiday Catalog coordinates beautifully with Peace this Christmas #141570.

Year end SAVINGS on your favorite products in the 2016 Holiday Catalog!

So, let's get started with the fun!  This beautiful card was inspired by Dawn Olchefske's wreath technique.  Please check out her blog.  Her technique is a fun and easy way to create a natural looking wreath with Peace this Christmas #141570.

1) Cut Emerald Envy Cardstock #141415 5 x 6 1/2, Whisper White Cardstock #101650 4 3/4 x 6 1/4, Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper #141986  2 x 4, die cut and mat center circle in Cherry Cobbler Cardstock #119685 and Whisper White Cardstock #101650 with Layering Circles Framelits #141705

2) Stamp border on all four sides in Garden Green #126973 and Cherry Cobbler #126966 while masking corners to have room to stamp pine sprigs and holly.

3) Dawn Olchefske's wreath technique: start with stamping pine sprig in Soft Suede #126978 around inside of cut circle.  Overlay stamping in Garden Green.  Add berries in Cherry Cobbler.  Wow, how bearutifully natural!

4) Stamp sentiment tag in Cherry Cobbler with Christmas Pines Photopolymer Stamp Set #142049 in the 2016 Holiday Catalog. SAVE NOW 25% on this set until the Year Ends! Die cut bow with Pretty pines Thinlits Dies #141851. Mat sentiment with Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.  Adhere pieces with Stampin' Dimensionals #104430.

Create dimension with Regals Enamel Shapes #141681 added to berries.  Enjoy and send Christmas Blessings!
