This challenge inspired me to honor fathers that are away from their families for Father's Day, Memorial Day, or for anytime.  You have many opportunities with the Guy Greetings Stamp set to create the card that is perfect for what you want to express to your favorite guy!

To create this card I used the wood grain design in the Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper for the background.  Guy Greetings Stamp Set was used for the Old Fashioned Car and Inside sentiment.  Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set was used for the sentiments.  Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set was used for the background in the circle behind the car and the background behind the inside sentiment.  Gorgeous Grunge is a perfect way to highlight the wood grain in the designer paper!

Cut two Basic Black Cardstock 5 x 6 1/4 and two 2 x 5 strips and three 3 x 3 squares, Perfect Plum Cardstock 4 3/4 x 6 and 3 x 3 and 4 3/4 x 2 strip, Whisper White Cardstock 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 and three 3 x 3 squares, Color Me Irresistible Specialty Paper 4 3/4 x 6 and 2 x 4 3/4.  Inks used include Perfect Plum, Tuxedo Black Memento, and Basic Gray Archival Ink.

Die cut circles in Basic Black and Whisper White Cardstock with Circles Collection Framelits through the Big Shot Machine.

Sentiments and images were stamped with Thoughtful Banners and Guy Greetings in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

Stamp the car image from Guy Greetings Stamp Set onto scratch cardstock.  Cut around image to create mask.  Stamp image on 3 x 3 Whisper White at an angle as shown below.  Place mask onto image with repositional adhesive.

Stamp with Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set and Soft Suede Ink on top of masked image to create background.  Sponge edges in Soft Suede Ink.

Use Gorgeous Grunge with Soft Suede Ink for the smaller inside circle.  Sponge edges of larger circle in Perfect Plum.  Cut out stamped banners and sponge in Perfect Plum.  Adhere front banner with dimensionals.

Sponge edges of Color Me Irresistible Specialty Paper with Soft Suede Ink to create an 'Old Fashioned' and dimensional effect.  Rip edges of the squared car image and sponge edges with Soft Suede Ink.

Stamp car images on Whisper White Cardstock 2 1/2 x 4 3/4 to create background for inside of card.  Stamp with Tuxedo Black and Basic Gray Archival Ink.  Sponge edges and over images with Soft Suede Ink.

Mat sentiments with Basic Black Cardstock and send card for Father's Day!
